On 4th January 2025, the Tanzanian High Commission actively participated in the 20th Cultural Gala, held at the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces’s Senior Command and Staff College (SCSC) Kimaka in Jinja City. This significant event, themed "Consolidating Africa’s Cultural Commonalities for Socio-Economic Transformation," provided a platform for cultural exchange and celebration. Hon. Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community (EAC) Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, graced the occasion, highlighting the crucial role of unity in navigating diverse socio-economic transformations across the continent. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the Tanzanian High Commission presented a vibrant showcase of its rich cultural heritage, featuring diverse products and expressions including traditional clothes, authentic food and drinks, the beauty of the Tanzanian language, and captivating entertainment.
